ABOUT Me

Eric is a Junior at Columbia College Chicago, studying Graphic Design. So far, he has taken several graphic design courses and a typography class, which have helped him develop his skills and deepen his interest in the field. He’s excited to see how these skills can be applied in real-world situations as he continues to grow as a designer.

Eric is detail-oriented and determined, especially when it comes to overcoming challenges. Every time he encounters a problem in his work, he views it as a learning opportunity that helps him improve. Whether it be trying to figure it out on his own, or using his resources to find a solution, he always wants to learn how to overcome the challenges. He doesn’t just focus on getting things done but makes sure that the end result is something he’s proud of. He is also taking two business classes, learning how to network and build professional relationships, which will help him in his career.

Eric understands that connecting with others is just as important as the work itself, and he’s committed to improving in this area.

When he’s not destroying his spine with bad posture working on projects, Eric enjoys spending time with his family or making music online. He loves exploring different genres of music and learning about their unique qualities. He loves being a student and is always curious, looking to expand his knowledge in any way he can.

Right now, Eric's main goal is to find a freelance design job, which would give him important experience and prepare him for the future. He is also looking to challenge himself by networking and connecting with others inside and outside of his interests. He’s currently working on a project to help small businesses develop new brand identities, with the hope of making a positive impact on their business. This project also gives him a chance to put his design skills into practice and continue growing as a designer.
